SQUIRRELY WEDNESDAY ……. WHERE DID MY CORN COB GO ?
I put out a new corn cob Wednesday morning and a little while later it disappeared !!! Well you know the Blue Jay’s can’t steal the whole cob but the squirrels can and have picked them up and carry them off somewhere !! A couple of weeks ago I put a big ear of corn on the ground for them to snack on and one crazy squirrel picked it up with it’s mouth and carried it around the yard. It was a really funny sight watching it struggle with the ear of corn that was almost as long as the squirrel. It finally managed to disappear with it behind our shed 😀
