WE LOST A GREAT MAN ……. JOE COCKER SADLY DIED TODAY DECEMBER 22nd
I remember seeing Woodstock back in August of 1969, I wasn’t there but living in New York where it was held brought back many memories hearing about the huge traffic jams of the hundreds of thousands of people trying to get to the farm in upstate NY to witness Woodstock. There never was another concert that rivaled that one on the hot and rainy at times weekend. It was historic in every way. There are many from those years that have passed on and Sadly Joe Cocker joins them now. He was 70 years old and died here in the US, we seem to have claimed quite a few of the British rockers already. This performance has always been a favorite of mine. Rest in Peace Joe, you will be missed : (
