Upon A Burning Body & Ice-T Cover ‘Turn Down For What’
Punk Goes Pop is a compliation album series organized by Fearless Records that features various punk artists performing covers of pop songs. This year, Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6 was released, and currently stands #1 on the iTunes Alternative Chart and #6 on the iTunes Overall Chart. Among the featured songs and artists is Upon A Burning Body and Ice-T’s cover of “Turn Down For What”, orignally made popular by DJ Snake and Lil Jon. Upon A Burning Body offers up a great new edge to the song. Rugged vocals and guitar riffs create a much harder feel for the infamous party song.
