Artist Spotlight: The Rua
Hailing from Windsor, England, the sibling band The Rua blend the sounds of pop and rock into a tone that embraces their Gaelic roots. All classically trained singers, Roseanna, Alanna, and Jonathan Brown say that their background helped them lay the foundations for the band today. On their debut album, Essence, strings ang guitar are meshed together to create a unique sound, similar to a modern take on 70’s rock. The lyrics capture the trio’s spirit of growing up and moving through the cusps of adulthood.
