VINTAGE ARTIST OF THE MONTH …… BILLY JOEL, PIANO MAN 1970’S
Music videos in the 1970’s didn’t really exist at least not good ones. The original one for this song Billy Joel’s first single record was made in 1973 I’m not sure when this version was made but either in the late 70’s or mid 80’s. I choose Billy Joel for this month because I actually hung out in some of the same places as he did back in the 60’s he wasn’t famous at that time so of course people had no idea this amazing singer was in the crowd. Billy still lives here on Long Island and loves it here. I just love how this video captures the feel of living in the 70’s and hanging out in your most favorite bar or pub 😀
