#CancerSucks Help an Underground Artist Stay Above Ground

Los Angeles electronic duo, Leitbur, consisting of Jaron Widman and Samantha Krzyston, were brought to my attention this past week with their new single, “Heartsink.” With chilling synths and lush vocals, needless to say, they are right up my alley. As I was doing my research, I found out that the story behind “Heartsink” had the ability to send chills down my spine, also.

When Widman was diagnosed with cancer this past July, things got rough. Fortunately, he caught it very early and after a whirlwind summer of surgery and chemo, he is now recovering. Physically, the worst is behind him – the medical bills, however, are piling up.

If you or someone you know has gone through a tough situation involving health issues, you know all too well that medical bills are the worst kind of bills. Not only do they remind you of what you’ve battled (or are battling) but they add an unnecessary strain onto the recovery process. The duo decided to share this single early to help raise money for Widman’s cancer treatment.

Please help Jaron and Sam by purchasing “Heartsink” HERE or on iTunes HERE. You can also help by sharing the track and spreading awareness to their cause.
