Dresses That Should Be At The Met Gala
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, not Christmas… Met Gala time!
The theme this year is “white tie and decorations.” I’m not going to lie, I am more excited for this year than I was for last year’s punk themed red carpet.
Many people talked about how hard and risky it was for the beautiful and famous to really shock and wear spiked hair and black mesh last year. However, I think it will be an even greater spectacle to see the modern women of today in courtier-inspired costumes, with elaborate embellishments, gloves and overtly feminine prints.
In terms of designers, Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano and, of course, Valentino, have some gowns that could be plucked from the runways and be perfect for the night’s theme.
Though many of the gowns will definitely be custom, or couture, here are some that should absolutely make an appearance on the red carpet at the Met Ball.
