Incite My Riots Chapter 7

I know it’s been forever and all, but my computer has a virus and now it’s actually interfering with my internet and all my files and whatnot, so I have to restore it, bt don’t worry I’m backing up all my files first. And there are a lot of files. So since I haven’t restored my computer yet to get rid of the virus, I am currently working in Safe Mode Networking. I have acess to the internet from my laptop, but it’s super slow. Hopefully I can finally get back to updating, I know I’ve been slacking off lately, but this thread is so… dead. Haha that rhymed, but seriously, no is posting anymore except for Youaretheonly, God bless you girl for giving me hope! Anyways I really wanted to put the audio for Paramore’s Here We Go Again live at Anaheim, because it fit so perfectly, and you’ll soon se why if you’re even reading this. Yadda, yadda, I hope you all had the best Christmas ever and the best New Years ever. Now on with the story.

“Well, we’re Paramore from Nashville Tenessee and, um, this is our first year on Warper Tour. Each, each time we play,we always think, ‘hey, this is the greatest crowd we’ve ever performed for.”

I paused, realizing I couldn’t talk over their loud cheers.

“But today’s different. We want you guys to be the greatest crowd we’ve ever had the chance to perform for. Can you do it? Can you do it Camden, New Jersey?”

I pointed my mic towards them, their screams and grunts amplified.

“I’ll take that as a yes,” I laughed.

“All, all, alright!” I sang to the intro of Here We Go Again.

“And here we go again,” I started.

“Josh? Are you seriously writing song lyrics right now? Are you serious? We just finished oone of our best sets, and you’re writing song lyrics?” Jeremy asked.

The annoyance was evident in Josh’s eyes as he scribbles his thoughts down into his song book- well just a plain old spiral notebook that was sitting around.

I grabbed Jeremy’s arm and pulled him down next to me.

“We’ll help you write some lyrics too.” I offered.

“Ready, I need some coffee, I need some toffe, but don’t you dare get it from Muammar Gaddafi. Take it away Jerm!” I laughed.

“That was so bad, the only thing you need to take away right now is m memory. That sucked.” he commented.

I playfully slapped him, “Just you wait, it’ll be our next hit.”

“Fine, I’m sitting in a room, and it’s really dark because it’s night time.”

“That song was dark.” I said.

“What? No it wasn’t, it was- oh I see. Ha, ha, ha, pun intended.” he quipped.

“I’m sitting in a room, made up of only big white walls and in the halls there’s bunks and they’re smelly bunks!” I continued.

“And those bunks, which one is mine by the way, is-“

“Guys shut up!” Josh hissed.

We were taken back by his sudden outburst until he started singing.

“I’m sitting in a room, made up of only big white walls and in the halls there’s people looking through.”

“Okay, well then, that’s enough lyrics writing for today,” I expressed by throwing his notebook across the room.

“Hayles!” he exclaimed, hunting for his notebook. “Come on, bear with me, I’m on a roll here all thanks to you. Please?”

I couldn’t resist his warm, chocolate colored puppyy dog eyes.

“Fine,” I gave in.

“I’m sitting in a room made up of only big white walls, and in the halls there’s people looking through, don’t you think they’d have something better to do?” I said.

“No, it’s, it’s hard to say, but this song. It’s not about us, it’s about them.”

Josh didn’t have to say anymore, I knew just exactly what he meant.

“You’re always on display, for everyone to watch and poke fun at, don’t you know by now, you can’t turn back. This road is all you’ll ever have.”

The words flew out of my mouth before I could even think.

“Keep going!” Josh encouraged, scribbing the lyrics down sloppily.

“They know exactly what we’re here for.” I mumbled.

I spat our lyric after lyric, but the song… it just never came.

“Let’s just give it a break for now, okay Josh?”

He looked pretty worn out too.

“Don’t want to wear down your brain just yet, now do we? You can save that for after Warped.” I laughed, earning myself a smack in the face with a pillow.

“I love you Josh.” I told him, smiling like a three year old who was given a pony for Christmas.

“I love you too Hayles.”

I’m sure you all are going, “you got the lyrics all wrong!” I know I did. Rearranging lyrics is a part of the song writing process and that’s exactly what they’re going to go through. Have you guys seen the making of Brand New Eyes? Hayley constantly sings different words that were a part of the original composition that aren’t on the album because Josh and her went back to change them. Keep in mind they’re only on Warped Tour 2005, All We Know is Falling just came out sort of. Anyways the song writing process is going to be HUGE. There ought to be lots of fluff and all that good stuff. Anyway, I plan on following events that took place within the band, but with my own little twists in between. Keep in mind that Josh and Hayley are still dating, and they will be for a while.
