There’s not beauty or fashion trend to gutsy for Katy Perry. Girl will do anything for style (including wearing a controversial geisha costume!). But Katy’s look at the American Music Awards was less about ostentatiousness and more about glamour, that’s why her manicure came as a sweet surprise.

The singer, 29, wore a sophisticated Oscar de la Renta gown to the event over the weekend. She looked tame and mature. But upon further inspection, Katy’s matching polka dotted nails can be spotted! Her finger nails match her dress perfectly. It adds a touch of cheekiness, without taking away from the elegance of the look.
