Beauty Tested, Buzznet Approved: LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics!

Hey Buzznet pals,

Here at Buzznet we are always looking for new beauty products to try. We have all been big fans of LUSH Cosmetics for a long time now. Some of us have already been using certain products, but we still all jumped on the idea of trying new ones out!

Incase you didn’t know, what makes LUSH so rad is that it is completely fresh, handmade products that are all vegetarian/vegan and not tested on animals!

Here is what we tried and what we all thought about it:

We had two staff try this Sikkim Girls lotion and here is what they said: “A body cream like no other with amazing moisturizing capabilities that can keep even the driest winter skin feeling soft and supple.” -Aimee + Amy

“The Buche De Noel facial cleanser might be my new favorite thing. It has real cranberries and crushed almonds to cleanse and exfolitate your skin gently. I was so impressed that this weekend I went to LUSH and boughts tons of new products, I am making the switch!” -Brittany

“My skin is gross. I’m always outside riding around on my bike or taking long walks. If I leave my skin to it’s own devices, I’ll end up looking like an old wallet. I’m always looking for new skin products to keep me looking FLAWLESS. Since I’m vegan, trying out Lush’s “Celebrate” Hand & Body Lotion seemed like a good gamble. Not only did this lotion keep smelling delicious all day, it kept my skin looking FIERCE.” -Rich

I realized there are a bunch of ways I could get inappropriate with taking a bar of Santa’s face with me in the shower, but I’ll resist the urge and go with…

“Christmas comes early for me as Santa brings the gift of smooth and refreshed skin with the Sandy Santa Body Butter! Picture not provided due to my hopes of being on the Nice List.”- Our amazing intern Bianca

“I love the smell of “Celebrate” and it left my skin super smooth throughout the day. It is very very moisturizing and a little goes a long way :)” -Callina

“My lips get really dry in the winter and exfoliating helps keep them smooth. Normally I make my own mix of olive oil and brown sugar, but I thought this would be great to have at work. The scrub felt good and had a nice scent. The directions for “Santa’s” lip scrub wanted me to lick off the excess, but I wasn’t so sure about that, so I just wiped it off. It will definitely help me stay vigilant about taking care of my lips this season!“- Caitlin
