OCTOBER 12TH …… VINTAGE SONG OF THE WEEK “MONSTER MASH” 1962
This is a song I grew up with The Monster Mash by Bobby “Boris” Pickett. It was the perfect Halloween song back in the 60’s and has gone on to become a classic. Bobby died in April 2007 at the age of 69. There are many different versions put together to go along with his song but I liked this one the best it uses scenes from the old vintage B movies. They were kind of low budget sometimes badly made movies but classics still the same. They were mostly made in the 1960’s. There are clips at the beginning of the original horror movies made in the 30’s like Dracula and Frankenstein 😀
