Last Day In NYC: Shopping Spree

So I’m up here in NYC workin workin workin… and figured today was a good day (the last day before I head back to LA) to get out of bed early and get some shopping in. I recently watched the “Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf’s” documentary, and wanted to go by there for a minute; if only to see the building from the inside. I had one of our RCA execs (Andrew Berkowitz) meet me… And then proceeded to force him to try on everything that he decided was NOT “him”. I got some good/hilarious photos out of it.

After my failed shopping attempt (they were out of my sizes in the items I wanted), we hit up SUSHIYA for lunch. My friend (Parise Sellitti – @reisnyc) who works at TUMI (@tumitravel) swung by and started telling me about some new products, so you KNOW I had to go see the store in person before hitting the studio.

I always use TUMI luggage, but they make so many cool pieces that I can always seem to find new things that I NEED. This time, I found a garment bag (something I don’t have yet) to keep my jackets nice and smooth. Then I saw this sexy chocolate suede weekend bag that I fell in love with(with gold zippers). If you know me at all, you know that when it comes to quality leather, I’m a sucker. Finally, to top it all off, I found some sunglasses on the way out of the store that had my name written all over them. So… ya know.

For those of you that don’t know; we were part of the “Tumi Case Study” recently, and hopefully will be doing more collaborations with TUMI in the future. I’d even love to eventually help design a product. Who knows what could happen, but if you see a bag w diamonds or something tacky on it in the future; that probably means that I followed through with the idea!

What are you up to this week?
