“Hocus Pocus 2” In The Works??

HOLY SANDERS SISTERS!! I CANNOT CONTAIN MYSELF!

There is recent talk (and potentially small talk, but TALK, nonetheless) of a “HOCUS POCUS” SEQUEL in the works!

I know. Catch your breath and take it slow… This is a lot to take in.

Here’s the low down:

Saturday, October 19th was D23‘s 20th Anniversay screening of “Hocus Pocus” at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA. Many of the cast and crew attended, including Thora Birch (Dani), Omri Katz (Max), Vinessa Shaw (Allison), Kathy Najimy (Mary Sanderson), Doug Jones (Billy Butcherson), along with David Kirschner (producer and creator), John Debney (composer), Tony Gardner (make-up and special effects) and William Sandell (production designer). Fans got to be apart of an exclusive Q&A as well as meet the cast after and grab autographs.

Thora Birch (Dani) and Kathy Najimy (Mary Sanderson) pose together for a picture that makes our hearts melt.

Omri Katz (Max) proves that we all still have a crush on him after all these years.

Doug Jones (Billy Butcherson) and Vinessa Shaw (Allison) quickly pose for a picture before Billy’s head falls off.

Wishing you knew a spell to go back in time and attend it too, right? The screening also provided a section for viewing actual props and costumes from the movie.

The cast gather for an exclusive Q&A.

The big part:

Apparently, sometime during the Q&A, the panel went into discussing a highly anticipated sequel to the movie!

I’m dead.

Twitter immediately exploded with tweets from fans in attendance (as well as jealous fans who were not in attendance) of information about the sequel, and began telling everyone to Tweet @DisneyD23 and beg for a “Hocus Pocus” Sequel to happen. (I’ll give you a minute to stop reading this to proceed to do that now….)

There’s been not much more said about the potential sequel, but just the fact that it was discussed recently is good enough for me!

What do you think? Are you freaking out like me?

Go tweet @DisneyD23 right now to encourage the sequel!
