Photo Recap: Jessi Jae Joplin Attends WWD Magic!
Hi guys! Although I’ve had such a busy/exciting summer…I wanted to take this moment to share an amazing fashion adventure I embarked on! Well, I recently traveled to Las Vegas to serve as an official blogger for WWDMagic Convention…and I must say, I had an incredible time! It was so amazing to once again be amongst so many talented and extremely stylish bloggers (from all around the world…including fellow Buzzmakers and friends Samii Ryan and Hanna Beth). It was also so great to finally meet some of the other influential bloggers IRL!
The convention itself was very overwhelming, exhausting, and most importanly – AMAZING. There were so many wonderful designers in attendance! One of my favorites was Dolly & Molly. They are such a cool brand filled with loads of fluorescent colors and schoolgirl inspired pieces. I can’t get enough of them! I also really enjoyed BCBGenertation.They had an entire 90s inspired lounge…which was obviously right up my alley! I even got the chance to moderate and speak on various Discovery Session Panels throughout the convention where we discussed some of the coolest pieces on the floor.
During the convention, I ventured to Mandalay Bay to check out Pool Trade Show and Project…they feature some of my most favorite / super cool, edgy brands – like Petals and Peacock, Hips and Hair, Wildfox Couture, and my favorite shoe brand Y.R.U. It was so awesome to see what the brands have in store for next season. I had such a blast!
All in all, the entire trip was very bittersweet. I was gifted some pretty fabulous items…like an incredible studded purse from Imoshion, an awesome silver clutch from Ivanka Trump handbag collection, tee’s from Lolly Clothing, super cute skinny jeans from YMI, an amazingly comfortable sweater from Lush, “eyeball” hair accessories from Kreepsville666, and some socks and thigh highs from PeekABootSocks, Darby’s and Kix’ies (THANK YOU ALL). I am so grateful to get a chance to wear all these pieces! And I really had great time at the convention…I’m still a bit overwhelmed by all the amazing fashion pieces and brands I discovered…I’m already looking forward to next season!
