Music Spotlight: Exclusive Interview With Goodnight Argent

I was informed of this band called Goodnight Argent through a friend and really liiked their music!

Here is an interview I did with Chase from the band!
Me: Describe the band in 4 words!
Chase: Electrorganic Pop-infused Rock
Me: For those who have never heard you before, describe your sound!
Chase: We’ve had people tell us we sound like a mix between Maroon 5, and One Republic. Our new EP we’re recording definitely has a very big sound. Huge Pop driven courses with dancey guitars/synths, and massive drums.
Me: What are you main goals for the rest of this year?
Chase: We actually have one of our dream shows coming up on August 31st. We’re playing at The Toyota Center in our home town, headlining the Exora Music Festival. We’ve all dreamed of playing there one day, as kids we grew up watching huge name bands play there. It’s always seemed unreachable, but things started moving fast once we got this band together and now it’s actually happening, and we get to play with some of our favorite bands from the Northwest. After that show, we’ll be working on our new music videos and preparing to hit next years festival circuit with our new EP.
Me: If you could put together your dream tour, who would be on it?
Chase: I’d love to say that the dream tour would be with all of our favorite artists like Justin Timberlake, John Mayer, Seven Lions, and Bruno Mars, which would be a CRAZY awesome lineup, haha! But honestly, our dream tour would be to play sold out arenas with the bands we’ve struggled side by side with and played with at small venues where only 5-20 people show up, because it would be so awesome to play night after night, with some of our best friends, and guys who work so hard doing what they love.
Me: What advice do you have for your fans and the Buzznet readers?
Chase: Our best advice would be to find what you love to do in life, what makes you truly happy, and do it. Don’t waste time second guessing yourself, or letting others tell you who you are or who you should be. Our next piece of advice would be, if you haven’t seen it yet, watch Ashton Kutcher‘s speech on the Teen Choice Awards. Just try to ignore all the screaming.
