My main goal with From The Indie Vault is to put the spotlight on indie acts that you’ve never heard of before while helping them out along the way. Today’s spotlight is on Downey, CA’s Mishima Strange who are literally just starting out. Singer Patrick e-mailed me explaining that he is in the process of putting a live band together and his honesty and confidence sparked my interest.
Upon listening to Mishima Strange’s self-titled debut album, I was transported through a time warp to the 1960s when The Beatles ruled the airwaves. Not a bad scenario. Take a listen to the album below and pick up a copy here:
