Get To Know: The Colourist
If you’re beach bound this weekend and need some new tunes to fire up the car stereo, not only do I envy you, but I just might be of some service! I have discovered a new band today that will warm your summer hearts.
The Colourist are an Orange County, CA four-piece with synthtastic melodies and youthful beach-worthy beats. They performed at this year’s Coachella festival and will be opening for the likes of Metric, Youngblood Hawke and Atlas Genius starting next week. Their song “Little Games” was even remixed by one of my favorite new discoveries, St. Lucia.
