Best Coast Release New Song “Fear of My Identity” for Record Store Day — AND IT RULES
Record Store Day was a couple of days ago (4/20 – make the jokes that you will) and Best Coast released a 7″ with a killer new song.
I’m posting about this because…I am just so happy, happy, HAPPY that it sounds like they’ve gone back to their lo-fi roots. Of course, I love “The Only Place” and it’s one of the few records that I play pretty constantly in my car and know all the words to. “Better Girl” is like my anthem, but “Crazy for You” holds a really special place in my heart and this new song reminds me so much of that. If their EP is headed in this direction, it’s going to be some of their best material yet!!
