Non-Profit Animal Advocacy Org: NY CLASS
I want to share with you guys an organization that my whole family and I are supporters of. I know it’s very nostalgic to think of romantic carraige rides through Central Park in New York City, but the truth is these horses are put in very dangerous situations in NYC traffic. There were more than 15 tragic accidents this past year alone involving these animals. NY CLASS is a non-profit orgnization that is working hard to pass a new law that would retire all the horses to loving homes in green pastures!

The saddest part though is that most of these animals, once unfit to work, are sent to auctions where they are sold to kill-buyers who transport animals to Mexico and Canada where are they inhumanely slaughtered for exported meat. It breaks my heart just thinking about it.
