Content of the new release of IRON MAIDEN.
“Maiden England ’88” presented on March 25, launching the legendary Iron Maiden live for the first time on DVD.
EMI has introduced the double DVD release “Maiden England` 88 “IRON MAIDEN to be held on March 25. For the first time on DVD, The Maid present this concert was recorded over two sold-out nights at the NEC Arena Bitmingham in November 1988 during the “Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son World Tour”. The disc contains the concert, especially updated and expanded from the original on VHS, including three unreleased songs: “Running Free”, “Run to the Hills” and “Sanctuary”, showing the complete concert, with a total duration of 110 minutes.
The bonus disc includes the third part of the story of IRON MAIDEN. This 40-minute recording consists of recent interviews with all five band members and manager, “Rod Smallwood. Others Special extras include video 12 Wasted Years. First released as a VHS in 1987 and also available on DVD for the first time. This 90-minute documentary includes interviews and file live recordings of the band’s legendary Ruskin Arms pub, Marquee Club in London. Cinco promotional videos have also been carefully restored and enhanced from the original recordings.
The “Maiden England” will also have a double CD version and a limited edition picture disc vinyl plus digital download formats. The concert only previously been available on CD as part of a box set released in 1994 through EMI Vision Series, along with the two songs VHS but unless the video. Now, with three songs recently rescued and two, making a total of 5 songs previously unavailable on CD.
