Elle Fanning Stars In Sigur Rós Short Film
Elle Fanning recently starred in a Sigur Rós short film as a distraught ballerina who has a complicated relationship with her father. Directed by Floria Sigismondi (The Runaways), “Leaning Towards Solace” incorporates two tracks from the band’s most recent album. It takes place in a rural desert slum and it stars Fanning along with the great John Hawkes (Winter’s Bone) as her self-doubting father. The film is pretty uneventful, but is quite beautiful to watch nonethelss. Plus, there’s a strange twist at the end. Watch it below and let me know what you think!
