For some of us (aka ME) getting dressed for holiday parties isn’t just not that fun, it’s downright daunting. (I wanted to say “crippling” there but then decided not only did it sound a touch dramatic, I prefer the alliteration always). But then someone like Cory Kennedy comes along and reminds me that you don’t have to wear a giant shiny dress or something drenched in sequins or glitter to get into the holiday spirit. Sometimes a chic, understated little outfit with a splash of color does the trick just fine.
Cory demonstrated this at the Derek Blasberg for Opening Ceremony Stationary launch party, wearing navy blue velvet skinny jeans paired with a cream-colored button down shirt, bow pumps, and the pièce de résistance: a colorful scarf knotted jauntily around the neck.
