November 28, 2012

The top 8 share their thoughts and take stock of the situation, they are just to a step to the winner, the pressure is each episode higher.

Tonight the theme is the best of the best, all the #1st hits signed the music history in these years.

But there’s also another special surprise: world premiere of “Scream & Shout” music video of our favorite judge Britney Spears with Will.I.Am

Are you ready? Let’s go!

The first to perform is Diamond.

Britney: I think Diamond has a lot of potential. I really think this performance put her through the next level. She has the whole package!

The song choice is “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston.

The intro is slow and it seems like a ballad then it breaks the wall and Diamond entertains the audience with tons of colored balloons.

“You get it!” exclaims L.A. while Demi was waiting something like that for her performance but she doesn’t seem to have goose bumps.Simon replies: “She sang. She danced. It’s the hardest thing in the world!” yeah, Simon it’s super tough dancing, singing, keeping the pitch and smiling, Diamond’s mentor, Britney is really proud of her act and she adds: “I danced with you!”

Vino is the second one. In the introducing video we discover L.A. decided to change the song at the last minute. “If you have the wrong song, you go home!” he says.

“If You Don’t Know Me By Now” was the previous song changed with “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling”

Demi “wasn’t entertained” and also Britney thinks he should refresh.Simon, even though found the song was right for him “It just didn’t work. L.A. took a risk!” and it wasn’t a $5 million performance. L.A. Reid disagrees saying, “I didn’t expect the other judges to support you because you’re a threat.”

Khloe asks Britney which kind of song Vino should try to sing and she proposes something a little bit more up-tempo.

“Never Gonna Give You Up” is the hit choice for Paige. She was flawless and nailed the performance. I really loved it! She’s so adorable and talented.

L.A. compliments with the Arizona’s girl saying: “That was by far your best performance! You seemed to have fun!”, Britney thinks it was risk at this time of the competition but it worked; Simon, instead, noticedthis is the first time she looked and sounded like a legitimate pop star. Demi ends with: “We clicked working together!”

Simon announces Fifth Harmony saying it’s gonna to be the strongest performance.

In the introducing video we see the girls having some free hours of shopping but a phone call broke the heart of Ally. Her grandpa passed away and she was really really sad: she wants to dedicate this performance to him. The song choice is: “Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger” by Kelly Clarkson.

They really rocked it! L.A. starts making condolences for Ally’s loss. “Stay strong!” he exclaims to the girl and then expresses his thought: the performance was good, he thinks they have a harmonies between the voices but he didn’t get goose bumps. Britney, instead, thinks the song worked for a group: “girl power!” and Demi adds: “one of your best performances” but her critic goes to the static movements. Simon, obviously seems to be disagree (as usual) with Demi’s thought: “This is the first time I see you in the chart”

Carly Rose after the touching episode of last week spent some time with her older bro Russell and after have discovered she was at the top of rankings she didn’t expect it (just like the standing ovation by judges after her performance).

“At this point, everyone can win!” she says in the introducing video.

Britney’s song choice for the 13 years old girl is “Rolling In The Deep” by Adele.

Damn, Carly is such a phenomenon! She can sing anything better than the original version, this is just another awesome performance to add to the previous ones but even though L.A. recognizes her insanely talented, he thought it wasn’t her best performance but he adds: “Also you’re second best is better than others first!” Demi is speechless: “I’m proud of you! You are so young… you are so great!” and Simon says: “I thought the first half of the song was good. I thought the second half of the song was sensational”. Britney ends with: “I think we knew it was a challenge!”

Tate brings his guitar on stage for his performance on “Somebody Like You”. The judges like the upbeat song choice. “I’m sure we’ll be seeing you accept a country music award one day,” says Britney. Simon likes it but offered one word of caution. “Don’t dance!” L.A. thinks Simon is likeable while Tate is lovable. Demi loves he always dedicates the songs to his wife and she hopes one day her future husband dedicates her the songs too.

CeCe was upset after have found she was in the bottom two last week. “Demi and I need to get what was wrong”. The song choice is “Lady Mermalade”. I have to say, the performance was good, in some parts was amazing, the pitch was great, the vocals was on key, but some parts was just a little bit screamed. As I said, she should try to control her vocals in a better way in some parts of her performances, she has a great voice, she can keep high notes, she has just to work on some parts.

L.A. actually enjoys that circus, Britney is agree with what CeCe said, it was a tough week but the performance was good. Simon finds a problem: it was too distracting and his advice is to pack her suitcase! But Demi seems to be disagree and she’s proud of her girl.

Finally the moment is arrived and the audience enjoys world premiere of “Scream & Shout”.

Britney says: “He’s [will.i.am] like a big kid. It was so funny! [to work with]”

The night isn’t ended yet, just one act needs to perform and they are Emblem3.

In the introducing video we see the guys have some time for themselves and go to shopping.

“A lot of people recognize us!” they say. Damn, they aren’t still anyone and already that crowd around them. A bit speechless!

Simon wants an only one number in their head: #1

The group performs on “I’m A Believer”

The girls in the audience swooned. Demi likes them but didn’t like the song choice. “I don’t know what Simon is doing with you,” to which Simon fires back “I’ve sold over 300 million records.”

L.A. thinks they have the X Factor and Britney is a believer of them but she thinks it wasn’t the right song too.

Which is your favorite performance of the night?
