Road Kill Couture: Fashion Made From Dead Animals

Hi Moon Babies! I recently discovered the controversial fashion designer, Jess Eaton. She creates her clothes from ethically sourced dead animals such as road kill. She recently launched a collection titled Road Kill Couture, which includes weird clothing and accessories, like a necklace made from the skulls of dead pheasants, a bolero jacked made from the furs of white rats, and a hat made from magpie wings. She believes that since we eat the meat from animals every day and then throw away their bones and fur – it’s a waste. So she decided to take these parts of a dead animals and turn them into beautiful pieces of clothing. Jess hopes her collection will inspire people to think about where their food comes from and how much we waste. I was definitely happy to discover that she ethically sources all of her materials. Her collection pushes the boundaries of recycling and asks people to think about the ultimate nature of sustainability. How incredible!
