Team Jeaneane 5k Race For A Cure
I wanted to do a post on this because it is so near and dear to my heart. Jill & Meg ventured down to Philly to participate in the Race For A Cure 5k. Most of you know, Jill’s best friend Jeaneane passed away from brain cancer when she was 16. Ever since then Jill, her friends, and our family has been very involved in fundraisers and race’s for a cure of childhood cancer, and any type of cancer.
Truth is, we probably already have the cure for cancer, but we will never be able to know because our government wouldn’t make any money off of the cure. Besides my rant on the government, what we can do is support the cure and hope that one day all children and anyone else affected by cancer will be cancer free. I am so proud of my sisters, Kristine, Brian, Bri, Tori, & Maria for participating in this 5k race. Sad I couldn’t be there, but I was there in spirit!
DREAM BIG, STAY STRONG – Miss you Jeaneane!
Check out the gallery of photos that my sister took from the race! Have you ever been involved in a race for a cause?
