Barack Obama Re-Elected 44th President Of The United States

The votes are in and President Barack Obama has been re-elected for a second term in the White House. Voters across the country were glued to their televisions, sitting on pins and needles to hear the results of the closest presidential race in U.S. history.

After beating Governor Mitt Romney by 81 electoral votes, the president spoke with Governor Romney on the phone, who extended his congratulations before addressing his party of disappointed supporters.

“I so wish that I had been able to fulfill your hopes….but the nation chose another leader,” he said during his concession speech.

Obama supporters celebrated into the night as the country looks forward to another four years of his leadership and dedication to America.

“I have never been more hopeful for our future, I have never been more hopeful for America,” President Obama said as he accepted his win.

For a campaign this long, we think both candidates deserve some rest and relaxation!

Are you happy with the election results?
