Katy Perry Sings Touching Duet With 11-Year-Old Who Has Autism

Katy Perry took the stage at Comedy Central’s autism benefit with Jodi DiPiazza, an autistic girl who made a breakthrough with the help of music. Night of Too Many Stars took place atNew York City’s Beacon Theatre. The two beautiful ladies sang “Firework,” a perfect song for the occasion. Jodi was diagnosed with autism at age 2. She has battled an emotional journey with autism. At one point she was not able to speak or communicate and now she is playing piano flawlessly and expressing herself through music. Jodi played piano for the entire song, and even joined Katy on vocals. The pair recevied for a standing ovation.
