Three For Free: The Swellers, Morain, Y Luv All Have Free Music For YOU

Do you love music? Do you love free things? Do you love poor puns in blog titles? If you nodded along and said “Yes” three times, then today’s article is for you. A song premiere from The Swellers, the debut EP from your new favourite band Morain and a download from Hype Machine chart climbers Y Luvall for free. What more could you possibly ask for?

The Swellers

In anticipation of their new EP, ‘Running Out Of Places To Go‘, The Swellers are streaming new song “Hands” online and have also made it available as a free download. So if you like what you hear, you don’t have to wait until October 16th to own the song – but don’t forget to check out the upcoming five-track release when it drops next month.

Morain

Signed to FuturesIndigo Records, Morain have taken a leaf out of their label founders‘ books and are releasing their first EP for free. Futures made waves thanks to being a cover mount giveaway on Rock Sound magazine and now their protégés follow in their footsteps with their own promising debut.

Y Luv

Gearing up to release their own EP, ‘It Doesn’t Have To Make Sense‘ (out October 1st), LA-based rockers Y Luv are offering recent track “Driftin'” as a free download. Speaking about the song, lead vocalist Freddy Janney says “Driftin’ is a total collaboration by all five of us. It started with Evan’s piano part and we just jammed and layered it from there. It’s about feeling like you’re losing your mind. We love playing it live.”
