Who Made Demi Lovato Cry On ‘X Factor’?

Since Demi Lovato and Britney Spears were announced judges on the second season of X Factor, there’s been tons of buzz and anticipation for the big day. The September 12th premiere of the highly anticipated show drew in a number of viewers – and they weren’t disappointed! Many auditioned for the singing competition and in the end, there was one contestant in particular that left quite the impression, causing tough judge Demi to shed a tear or two. Who was this mystery tear-jerker?

Jillian Jensen, a 19-year-old singer hailing from Massachusetts, performed an emotionally-charged rendition of Jessie J‘s “Who You Are.” Like Demi, Jillian had been a victim of bullying. Before her audition, she approached Demi saying, “I’m kind of a big fan of yours. I was also bullied a lot. For a long time I didn’t know how to deal with it. I would cry myself to sleep every night.” She then proceeded with an emotional audition, causing all four judges to get teary-eyed – even Simon Cowell!
