Demi Lovato and Niall Horan of One Direction have previously admitted their affection for one another and while Demi has admitted that she is currently single and focused on her career, that was before she met Niall in person! The One Direction hearttrob and the former Disney darling have sparked up a friendship online but hadn’t met in person until the MTV VMAs last week. E! News reported that the adorable duo were spotted out on an intimate dinner date post-VMAs at Pink Taco in Century City.

The upcoming X-Factor judge took the time and cleared the air about her relationship with Niall, saying:
“There is nothing going on. Niall’s my friend. I’m really happy for One Direction and the success that they’ve had. It just goes to show you how crazy this competition is to making stars and the success that they have. He’s a good friend of mine.”
