William Beckett To Hold Online Benefit Show For Former TAI Bandmate
William Beckett may be out on a solo musical journey, but he has not forgotten his The Academy Is…bandmates in the least. Andy Mrotek, aka “The Butcher” the drummer of TAI was assaulted recently and William will be holding a benefit show to raise money for Andy’s medical costs.
On August 6th William will stream acoustic benefit show via Stageit.com.
In a blog post on his Tumblr page William explained,
“Last week my good friend and musical brother Andy Mrotek was jumped and attacked by multiple people, leaving him in need of reconstructive surgery. As procedures like this are very expensive, I wanted to do something to help Butcher through this horrible time.”
