Why Are Twihards Attacking Nikki Reed?

Twilight fans or Twihards are on a rampage attacking Nikki Reed after she retweeted: “To be trusted is a greater compliment than to be loved.” Tons of fans went crazy and took the tweet as a direct jab at Kristen Stewart considering news broken that she cheated on Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and The Huntsman Director Rupert Sanders.

The cast of the Twlight Saga were under direct orders to keep quiet about the cheating scandal but Twihards took that retweet as Nikki attacking Kristen. Eventually Nikki deleted that tweet but that wasn’t the last there was to say about the topic. This is what Nikki had to say:

“Just took down my last retweet as I’m noticing that some of you are attempting to twist the most innocent message into whatever meaning you wanted it to have. Twi fans, please stop. It’s such a waste of your time. I love all of you, regardless of how you choose to interpret and spin things. Thank you for your passion.”

Do you think the Twihards were just spinning something out of control or do you think that retweet was really a jab at Kristen?
