Which Member Of One Direction Is Going Deaf?!
It’s pretty much every musicians’ dream to play a venue filled with legions of screaming fans – and One Direction is no exception! But with that audible attention comes a price, and unfortunately a specific One Direction member can attest to that! Louis Tomlinson has developed a condition called tinnitus, which has the One Directioner partially deaf in one ear because of the extreme noise levels of their fans.
After last week’s appearance at Liverpool’s Radio City, the One Direction member had a headache lasting three days straight! Before the guys’ gig, Louis admitted: “I am going slightly deaf in my right ear. It’s tinnitus… something like that. All our fans are always very loud, especially Scousers.”
Since then, One Direction’s management have insisted that Louis and his fellow band members Harry Styles, Niall Horall, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne wear special earpieces to wear onstage to save their eardrums.
