Robert Pattinson may be flying solo since his reported breakup with longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart after her cheating scandal with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, but he may not be single for very long! Word on the street is that a hottie celeb has her eye on the Twilight actor – and it’s not his ex K-Stew! OK! Magazine reports that none other than singer Rihanna has been digitally flirting with R-Patz.

“They’ve met several times at award bashes over the years,” a friend of the singer told OK!

“RiRi thinks he’s very cute, but nothing ever came of it because he was attached to Kristen — and it’s not her style to steal someone else’s man… She got Rob’s phone number from a mutual friend and has been sending him sexy, funny texts to cheer him up. At first, Rob thought someone Punk’d him. Eventually Rihanna convinced him she was for real, but Rob has been resisting her.”

The two haven’t officially gone out just yet, but the source says that a hang-out may be in the forecast soon!

“Rihanna would love to meet up with him. And Rob’s friends keep telling him he has to start enjoying life again. What better person to help cheer him up than Rihanna?” the friend says.
