Russell Brand: From Addiction To Recovery The New Documentary
Russell Brand is preparing for the premiere of his new documentary set around his past drug addiction. It will include shocking footage or his drug addiction, smoking heroin and his darkest battles during those times.
“This is when you know it’s a disease.,” he said in a recent statrement. “It doesn’t matter that I was sat in that flat in Hackney and now I’m in the Savoy. I’m jealous of me then. It doesn’t make a difference to me. The money, the fame, the power, the sex, the women – none of it. I’d rather be a drug addict.”
Althogh Russell has been sober for years now, it’s still shocking to hear those statements. The documentary will premiere later this month in the United Kingdom.
