Kristen Stewart Snatches Film Role From Jennifer Lawrence

It may not be a good time in Kristen Stewart‘s social life right now – particularly in the love department! Since the shocking revelation that K-Stew cheated on her boyfriend Robert Pattinson with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, it seems that fans and fellow celebs alike aren’t favoring the actress much these days. But the 22-year-old Twilight actress still has her career to hold onto with film offers – and her latest one had her snatching the role right out of Jennifer Lawrence‘s hands!

The role? The lead in Lie Down in the Darkness, a movie based on the 1951 novel about a woman trying to escape her dysfunctional home life in 1950s Virginia. The Hunger Games actress was said to be one of the front runners for the lead role in the movie… that is, until producers decided to go with Kristen instead. To be fair, producers reportedly went with Kristen because Jennifer was going to be tied up filming the sequels to both X-Men First Class and The Hunger Games.

Do you think picking Kristen over Jennifer in the lead role was a good choice, or was it a big mistake on the producers’ part?
