Sorry Batman, Street Artist Thank You X Thinks Robin Is Cooler
The Dark Knight Rises is on everyone’s list of blockbuster movies to see this summer, but what many movies goers seem to forget is Batman once had his super cool side kick, Robin, to assist in fighting crime and keeping Gotham City safe from danger.
Famed street artist, Thank You X, saw the need for less Batman, more Robin and stepped up to pay homage to the campy character from the 1966-1968 Batman television series. Taking a classic image of Robin (played by actor, Burt Ward), Thank You X has given it a modern spin with his signature screenprint and spray paint street style.
While Thank You X’s ‘Boy Wonder’ prints are limited edition and only available on his site, his art can be found all over the country from LA to Austin to NYC! Check it out!
