Buzznet Exclusive: Wes Anderson On First Love And Being Drawn To Outsiders
If you haven’t seen the flick Moonrise Kingdom yet, do yourself a favor and head to the theater to check it out… after you read this, of course! The film, which takes place in the 1960s and revolves around two 12 year olds on the run (played by Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman), is a great way to kick off a summer movie checklist. If you’re a fan of Wes Anderson movies, you’re sure to love this gem – and even if you’re not a big fan of his work or are just a mere movie buff, this is definitely a film everyone can enjoy!
Buzznet’s own Patty Gopez caught up with the director Wes Anderson himself at the press junket for Moonrise Kingdom, where the whimiscal director talked reminiscing on first love, being drawn to outsiders, and how he identifies most to Edward Norton.
