The idea of concept albums first begun in 1940 with Woody Gurthie‘s ‘Dust Bowl Ballads’. Since then, themed albums have come a long way appearing in almost every genre and telling almost every however Sleeping With Sirens may have brought something new. to the idea Not only is their concept ‘album’ shorter than usual, it’s also all about YOU – yes, you…almost. The Florida post-hardcore band are releasing an acoustic EP titled “If You Were A Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack” on June 26th via Rise Records. Your ‘movie’ however is not going to be feature length as only the EP contains only five ‘scenes’.
