Disney Girls Gone Wild
American director/producer Harmony Korine is best known for his work on edgy cult classics like ‘Kids’ and ‘Gummo,’ both films of which are relatively graphic and disturbing, though genius nonetheless. So it might come as a shock to fans of his work to learn that his latest offering, the teen indie comedy ‘Spring Breakers’ slated for release in 2013, stars a heaping of female Disney starlets.
Selena Gomez & Vanessa Hudgens are just a handful of the surprise actors in this film, but its their collective status as Disney darlings that is the biggest surprise, especially coming from a film helmed by Korine. Regardless, I’m super excited to see the film and to see how their roles all play out!
