Sometimes I come across people in the most random of ways and we find a way to stay in touch forever. That was the case when I met my friend Bobby Mares at a random festival in Texas!

Brittany Hagerty:What is one song that got huge in 2011 that you wish you wrote?
Bobby Mares: Definitely Super Bass by Nicki Minaj!
BH:Sing a line from your favorite 90s pop band song.
BM: She’s not a pop band but “Everyyyy night in my dreams, I see you, I feeeeel you, that is how I know you go onnnnn” :’)
BH: What are 3 things you always have with you?
BM: iPhone, wallet and swag. >:)
BH: If you had the chance to move anywhere in the world for free right now where would you go?
BM: Well it’s not in this world, but I hear Uranus is nice.
BH: Justin Timberlake or Usher??
BM: Justin Timberlake, for sure, JT!
BH: Who was your first celebrity crush? current?
BM: Tina Majorino from that seal movie Andre XD How embarrassing! And currently, I fancy Kate Beckinsale, whew!!
BH: What super hero do you think you are most like??
BM: Probably Superman because sometimes I’m super, and quite frankly a man
BH: Freestyle a line or two telling us about your music and why we should listen to it.
BM: “Check out my tunes, if you like to hear a dude, talk about pretty girls, like you, you are maaa world. word.”
BH: What is your biggest fear and what is one fear you want to conquer this year?
BM: I’m pretty scared of scorpions! I live near the desert so they’re all over and they’re so small and could kill you! AHHH D: This year I will spear a scorpion with a self-sharped rock tied to a stick and cook it on an open fire and eat it. BUT THEN IT’LL STING ME FROM THE INSIDE AND WIN!
BH: Whats your favorite part about playing shows?
BM: I love watching the audience singing along. And even hearing them over me! The coolest feeling ever, I love everybody who takes the time to go out to one of my shows.
BH: Last words?
BM: I love the people who listen to my music, they’re good people. I will rep them til the end!
