New Music: BEARCAT, ‘Silence Is Silver’
BEARCAT,a band started by Renee Yohe, is new on my radar but I am rapidly falling in love with Renee’s voice and story. You may already know the 19-year-old singer as she has played a big part in inspiring the non-profit organization To Write Love On Her Arms — and now she is steeping out as a musician.
Her band BEARCAT has a new single that was featured today on MTV’s Buzzworthy — AND they have landed a coveted spot opening on Never Shout Never‘s tour this spring.
The song “Silence Is Silver”, features Renee’s soothing retro voice singing about inner struggles and realizing when it comes to addication, silences is not always golden. Take a listen and you can contribue to BEARCAT’s Kickstarter campaigne to help support an EP release.
