All Hail Pi Day, the Encyclopedia Britannica & the Question of the Day

Today is Pi Day. What is this Pi that I speak of? Oh nothing, just this incredibly useful mathmatical constant that is like, super spesh and stuff.

LoL CONSTANT

I can’t really explain what pi is or what people use it for because I’m not too smrt in the head. All I know is that there are pi r squared things and then numbers and then my brain passes out. I have math phobia. I am really interested in math and what not but I cannot do it. It is really sad panda.

Anyway, pi is useful. Those that can weild its complexities often go far in life. They probably don’t even need these:

The Encyclopedia Britannica is dead

Maybe they do need these. Maybe they don’t. I just needed a segue to lead into this next tidbit. Turns out that after 244 years, the Encyclopedia Britannica is going digital. That’s right folks, no more bound tomes of information that you can touch and feel and plagiarize when doing state reports in the 5th grade. They are going out of print.

I always wanted a set of these. They were like, the killer whale of encyclopedias. I once spent an entire summer reading a set of encyclopedias because I didn’t have anything else to do. It’s where I learned how to knit and first read about India’s GDP. I learned about a lot of weird things that I can’t exactly find use for in my day to day life.

That brings me to my next topic, the actual Question of the Day. Both of the above topics are/were, respectively, useful things to be aware of. What I want to know is information that you know that isn’t so useful. That’s right, useless information.

Useless information seems to be in abundance. That’s okay though, because that’s what the comments on this post shall be for. Go ahead and tell us the most random thing that comes to mind that you can’t find use for in your daily life.

Since I work on the internet and can’t really understand math or anything, something that I know that is useless are the following names:

UpDownStrangeCharmTopBottom

Akshually, these are also known as flavors and if you know what they are for, you are magic. Now it’s your turn. Tell me things that you know that you can’t exactly find use for or something completely random. Oh, and Happy Pi Day!

Do you know any useless information?
