Vanessa Hudgens…Hollywood to Homeless?!
Ok…your jaw dropped when you found out Hollywood “it girl” Vanessa Hudgens traded her swanky L.A. living for a bed in a homeless shelter, but before you start thinking she lost it all and has no where to go, fact is, it was all to help her get into character for her new film Gimme Shelter!
Playing a homeless, pregnant teen opposite Rosario Dawson, the 23-year-old actress wanted to know exactly what kind of life her character was living.
“I actually went and stayed in a shelter for two weeks before I started filming,” Vanessa shared on The Rachel Ray Show. “I lived there with all the girls, with all the kids, so I think that it’s really interesting because you find so much more about yourself.”
