Real Life Style Inspiration: Charlotte Clothier

It is my pleasure to introduce you to the lovely Charlotte Clothier. She is a super cute, self proclaimed “lazy” gap year student from Cardiff. Her personal style varies from gothic school girl to preppy pretty girl, but it depends on her mood and of course her attitude. I wasn’t too surpirsed to discover that her favorite clothing stores are “charity” shops (we call them thrift stores here in America), but other than that she loves to shop in sales at Topshop, New look or Miss Self fridge. She is highly influenced by films such as Bright Star, Marie Antoinette, Picnic at Hanging Rock, The Virgin Suicides and The Dreamers – they have influenced her love for vintage, nude clothes. And it’s pretty obvious that right now she’s totally into pastel colors – mainly pale pink, cream, light blue, anything with frills, lace and netting.Charlotte is also very inspired by Lookbooker’s, Tumblr photos and her imagination. Her favorite fashion designer of all time is Alexandra McQueen (RIP) and at the moment she has a huge love for Meadham Kirchhoff. I love her because she doesn’t really dig the main high fashion houses. For example, how she loves wearing bows simply because they make her feel cutesy – like a Japanese Lolita. In the future, she actually dreams of traveling to Japan because of its crazy and colorful street fashion. I’m sure she will have no problem fitting in! Make sure to check out her super cool photo gallery below…it’s one of my favorites!
