James Franco Directs Seven For All Mankind Ad With A Topless Lily Donaldson

As if hunkadelic James Franco doesn’t already have enough on his plate, he’s now added a new role onto his list of many talents. Though the 33-year-old jack of all trades does have experience in directing movies, the video ads for Seven For All Mankind marks his commercial campaign directing debut.

For this new project, he got to shoot Brit beauty Lily Donaldson, and yes, she’s topless in the ad. Talk about added perks on the new job, right? Echoing Franco’s personal aesthetic, the video ads will feature a very retro 70s Californian feel to them with sun-washed and overlapping images. Wonder if he was inspired by the Marni for H&M ad directed by Sofia Coppola?

Nonetheless, James Franco should be happy with himself for “branching out”. After all, it’s not like we mind seeing him everywhere.

The ad is set to debut for Valentine’s Day week on Seven For All Mankind’s Youtube. But, in the meantime, you can check out a sneak preview of this hollywood hunk below.

Do you think James Franco has what it takes to be an ad director? Or should he just stick to being a Hollywood hunk?
