Exclusive: We Chat With BOTB About Tartans, Studs, And Other Fall 2012 Trends!

While we were out at the Project trade show in Las Vegas last week, we got the chance to check out a lot of new awesome brands. One of the up-and-coming lines that really caught our eye was BOTB (short for Belle Of The Brawl, maybe one of the best names ever?). The burgeoning line is only in its second season, but designer Lanie Alabanza-Barcena is an industry vet, having spent time designing for Rocawear and also her own streetwear line Hellz Bellz before launching BOTB. The collection has some street style elements, with nods to punk culture (think studs, creepers, and motorcycle jackets) all framed in sexy, fashion-forward silhouttes (cut-outs! bra-tops!). We pretty much want every single piece, and will anxiously be awaiting the release of the collection in August.

Watch the video below for more on Lanie’s inspirations, and for a sneak peek of the Fall 2012 BOTB collection! What do you think of the line?
