Running Nightmares……Chapter Twelve
Shannon then comes crashing into the room.
“What the hell is going on?” he says now sitting next to Emily.
“I told her, and she thinks I’m either being an ass, or that I’m crazy, couldn’t tell which with the look on her face” Emily says with dull tone.
Shannon looks at her for a moment, and then he puts his arms around her and holds her tight.
“Jare will get her to come around” is all he says.
Meanwhile, Jared has chased Gabrielle almost to the highway.
“Do you plan t walk the highway home?” Jared yells after nearly out of breath.,
Gabrielle then stops short by and oak tree the then leans on it and then slowly slides down.
Jared runs over to her to break her fall.
“Why, why is this happing” Gabrielle says now burying in face in Jared’s chest.
“Come, let’s get back to the car and we’ll go home” Jared says now trying to pick her up.
The two then stumble back towards Shan’s and Emily’s house, Jared prying that Emily is waiting for them.
