To prepare for the role of Lisbeth Salander, actress Rooney Mara (shown here on location in Stockholm) had her eyebrows bleached, her hair chopped, and her lip, brow, nose, and nipple pierced—all in one “very intense” day!
I love when actors dive head first into roles and really live like the character. I always think acting must be so hard to transform yourself and spend your days as someone else, only to go home and try to be yourself at the end of the day. I feel like I would get lost in the world of all my characters I played. Looking forward to the release of this film although I heard its equally as disterbing as the book!
