Tim Burton’s ‘Vincent’: Latest Obsession

One of Tim Burton‘s earliest films is one that most people don’t know about. Aside from being one of his earliest films, this short is also his first stop motion film. The short is called ‘Vincent‘, named after one of Burton’s idols Vincent Price, who can also be seen as the scientist in ‘Edward Scissorhands’, and follows a young boy split between his world and his dark imagination. The film seems eerily close to what must have been Burton’s experience as a child.
